About
I am Taku. I direct, shoot, and write from Accra, and I have been doing some version of this since I was old enough to borrow a camera and not give it back.
Hunter started as a name on a hard drive folder. It became the way I sign the work that goes out into the world: patient, quiet, willing to sit in a room until the light is right.
Most of what I make lives between documentary and memory. Real people, small rooms, long takes, and a stubborn belief that the ordinary is worth the format.
